To prevent the recurrence of vaginal yeast infection, it would also benefit women to regulate antibiotic use as antibacterial agents are not selective in neutralizing bacteria–wiping out even good bacterial flora that controls the overgrowth of yeast. When that happens, expect another round of irritating Candidiasis. Besides, antibiotics should not be prescribed for yeast infection but antimycotics. Nonetheless to completely prevent its recurrence, natural treatments or herbal remedies would come as a milder but effective alternative with its herbal ingredients such as the Pau d'arco bark and Marigold. This way severe side effects are prevented. Likewise herbal remedies can help reinforce your immune defenses against yeast pathogens.
